As a Community Scholar, you can experience the intellectual rigors and stimulating dialogue that take place in ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ classrooms even if you’re not pursuing a degree.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students who are able to complete intellectually challenging courses in a compressed schedule can participate in an intensive Summer Session in June and/or July, or a Winter Session in January.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ invites outstanding high school juniors and seniors from local high schools to take undergraduate courses at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ, where you can experience first-hand the intellectual rigors and stimulating dialogue that take place in our classrooms.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ offers a flexible alternative path to a degree through its non-residential program, the Bachelor of Liberal Studies, which is particularly geared toward students unable to live on campus.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s interdisciplinary Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS), designed with working adults in mind, allows you to engage both deeply and broadly across the curriculum.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s interdisciplinary Master of Philosophy in Liberal Arts (MPhil), designed with working adults in mind, allows you to engage in study across the curriculum, concluding with a thesis to draw your ideas together.

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s Graduate Certificate in Writing, designed with working adults in mind, offers a six-course program that allows you to hone your skills in creative, fiction, nonfiction or academic writing.

Do you want to engage in the intellectual rigors and stimulating dialogue of the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ classroom without committing to a degree program? Non-degree study is open to anyone in good standing with the university holding a bachelor's degree.
